A Letter To Our Readers:
Welcome to Volume 2! After a successful launch of our first issue, it is evident that the prairies needed a light read. Thank you tremendously for the support, the re-shares, and messages.
I am so happy to have you here, and I am even happier to be here.
With the month being June, I knew I had to pay homage to Queer Culture. Saskatchewan has vibrant LGBTQIA2S+ communities across the province and there have been and are still so many community events happening this month that it just felt... correct.
It was an absolute no brainer to have the Queen of Pride on the cover of this month's magazine. I was able to road trip with this distraught diva to Prince Albert Pride earlier this month where we did an impromptu photoshoot at our favourite places (the gas station and McDonalds) on the way home.
Rumour has it this Saskatoon Legend can be found at the top of the Nutrien Tower on cold rainy nights... but if she's not there, she's commanding the stage, killing the mic, and snatching those tips.
Without further ado, I would like to showcase someone I very much look up to... my friend, Jory McKay, also known as Sad Sally.

Hi Sally! Your third Big Gay Party, Y2GAY is happening on June 26, what can we expect at the hottest gayest party of the year?
Y2GAY is the biggest, queerest, liberating night in Saskatoon! Going into our third year we wanted to do something the same but different, and as usual I’m probably gonna be rolling around on the floor soaking wet so why miss that? When we say this is the biggest queerest event we mean it, that room is full of so much love and is the place we as queer adults get to be free and ourselves in silly little outfits!
Do you have any plans after Y2Gay? What's Sally going to be up to!
Sally is taking a bit of a pause actually! Not forever but I wanted to to explore who I am without the wig and perfectly blended contour. I’ve been Sally more than I’ve been the boy (Jory) for 6 years now, and while I wouldn’t change it for the world I want to explore myself and figure out who I am when I’m not producing or on stage.
I’ll back! But for the foreseeable future I wanna be androgynous trade, and have you all meet me not just the sad slutty clown on the stage ❤️
Lastly, is there anything you'd like to say to your friends, fans & maybe even the trolls!
Ummmmmmm… I’m single, terrified of men (bc they suck full offence) and ready to mingle?
